Remembrance

Robert R. Noble was killed in action on June 8th, 1944, just 2 days following his jump into action at Normandy. He was a Private First Class at the time of his death. Following his death he was awarded the Purple Heart medal, which is given to all men and women who are wounded or killed in action. Robert sacrificed all he had. He only had a short amount of time with his new bride before he volunteered to do what needed done so others wont have to.
